It is the second big test for Leeds this season having dismissed Championship side, Crystal Palace in the 2nd round and Leeds go into the game as the underdogs. Having dominated the FA Cup 1st round match against Northampton on Friday evening, Leeds failed to capitalise and managed only a 1-1 draw despite having 30 shots at goal.
Leading striker, Jermaine Beckford is expected to return having recovered from an ankle injury but with no new injury worries, McAllister has the full regular squad to pick from. Alan Sheehan is not expected to return to first time action after a length lay-off despite returning to full time training but Robert Snodgrass made a strong call for a place with an impressive performance last week.
Robinson too could look for a start and McAllister seems to play a consistant team so expect the only change could be a return for Beckford at the expense of Snodgrass.
Derby meanwhile are moving swiftly up the Chamionship table after a slow start but go in to the match tonight on the back of a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Reading at the weekend. They are also struggling with injuries in defence whish could help Leeds progress to the Quarter Finals.
Meanwhile, Chairman Ken Bates has again issued a statement to state that Fabian Delph is going nowhere. Delph has just received a call up to the England U21's and Bates is keen to remind people that he has just signed a 4 year deal and is not for sale. Let's hope Delph celebrates with a couple of goals tonight!
